The city of Albany and Clinton County are experiencing water shortages due to broken waterlines following recent winter weather.
Some residents in the area tell WJRS News water outages have lasted nearly a week and water service has been inconsistent.
County and city officials have declared a local state of emergency due to the outage.
Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is offering assistance to residents affected by the water shortage through Saturday by offering free showers and drinking water.
Kentucky Emergency Management has also been working to deliver water in the area.
As of now, city officials have said there is not a timeline on when the water issues will be resolved.
