Local officials and volunteers tackling winter weather

Snow continues to fall and as temperatures continue to drop, officials and volunteers from across the county are out working.

WJRS News caught up with Chris Money from the Russell County Rescue Squad to talk about how the volunteer group is responding to the winter weather.

Russell County Judge Executive Randy Marcum said county road crews have been out in full force since the weather arrived.

WJRS News also caught up with Amber Hale from the state transportation cabinet to talk about how state crews are helping to clear the roadways.
