Details have been released about a fatal house fire in Casey County Thursday evening.
According to Kentucky State Police, two adults identified as 29-year-old Ariel Gordon of Lebanon and 39-year-old Thomas Moss of Summersville passed away in the fire, along with two children.
First responders from Casey, Pulaski and Lincoln counties responded to the scene at around 4:30 p.m. CT Thursday at the house located in the Bethelridge community near Highway 837.
The cause of the fire and the deaths of those involved remains under investigation.
The bodies of Moss and Gordon, along with the two children, have been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for autopsies.
Detective Zach Scott with Kentucky State Police Post 15 is leading the investigation.
