Stephen Earl Fox, of Louisville, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Norton Audubon Hospital of Louisville. He was 54 years of age.
Stephen was born June 25, 1969, in Louisville, son of the late Earl Keith and Ruby Carol Brumley Fox. He spent twenty years on the road as a semi-truck driver. Stephen was an avid classic car lover and had a vast collection of diecast model cars. He enjoyed cooking out and coming down to Russell County to shoot guns and spend time with family. Stephen was a kind-hearted man who loved all animals, not just his own. He treasured his family and was full of life, always being able to make you laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Ward Fox; his children, Matthew Wente and Courtney Wente, both of Louisville; his nieces, Brandi Fox and Megan Sturgeon; many cousins and other relatives; and his loyal and beloved friends, Monty Miles and Chris Johnston.
Along with his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Keith Fox; and an infant sister, Johnna Fox.
Funeral services are 12:00 noon, CST, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Interment will follow in Hale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Matthew Wente, Floyd Ward, IV, Mark Ward, Perry Brumley, Stacy Brumley and Ronald Brumley.
Visitation will be held after 11:00 a.m., CST, Thursday, until time for services.
