Sheriff’s Office releases November report

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office released its monthly report for the month of November.

The sheriff’s office responded to 336 calls for service, not including in-office calls or walk-ins.

The sheriff’s office also performed 17 arrests, responded to 4 domestic calls, and worked 34 traffic accidents including 9 with injuries.

The sheriff’s office also provided 2 mental health transports, served 67 court papers and performed 52 vehicle inspections.

During the month of November, the sheriff’s office did 91 prisoner transports and drove more than 2,000 court security miles.

Last month, the sheriff’s office issued 12 concealed carry of deadly weapon permits and collected more than $1.26 million in property taxes.
