The Russell County Middle School Laker Basketball teams have had strong showings against Campbellsville and Casey County in recent action.
Last night, the Lakers won 2 of 3 on the road at Campbellsville Middle School.
The 6th grade team won 29-20 and the 7th grade team won 41-23.
The 8th grade team fell to the Eagles by a score of 61-33.
Last Thursday night, the Lakers finished off a regular season sweep of Casey County at home.
The 6th grade team defeated the Rebels 29-9.
The 7th grade team won 38-9.
The 8th grade team won 37-32.
The middle school Lakers go on the road Thursday to Clinton County.
