Bronston man accused of setting trap in driveway, damaging sheriff’s dept cruiser

A Pulaski County man is accused of setting a trap in his driveway that ended up costing more than $600 in damages to a Sheriff’s Department cruiser.

According to reports, 56-year-old Christian Paulk, of Bronston, is charged with second-degree criminal mischief and possession of a destructive device.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said Paulk placed hidden wooden planks in his driveway with nails sticking upward, so when a deputy came to his residence to serve an EPO, his vehicle was rendered incapacitated.

Both front tires of the deputy’s patrol vehicle were damaged, costing more than $600 in repairs.

Paulk was arrested and lodged in the Pulaski County Jail Wednesday afternoon.
