Several arrests were made over the weekend locally.
On Saturday morning, Russell Springs Police arrested 48-year-old Jonathan M. Tate of Bardwell and charged him with possession of methamphetamine as well as failure to appear and probation violations.
Tate was arrested by Lieutenant Bobby Pritchard with the Russell Springs Police Department at around 8:30 Saturday morning.
On Saturday afternoon, Kentucky State Police arrested 46-year-old Mark W. Wilson of Russell Springs and charged him with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
Wilson was arrested by Trooper Begley with Kentucky State Police Post 15 at around 3 p.m. Saturday.
State Police also arrested 52-year-old LaGena Bottoms of Russell Springs on Saturday and charged her with possession of a controlled substance first degree at around 5:30 Saturday evening.
All were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
