The following is the latest retail and restaurant inspections report from the Lake Cumberland District Health Department.
Fair Oaks Health Systems – 93 percent – no paper towels at hand wash sink, ice build-up on compressor of walk-in freezer, hand sink drain at dishwasher area in poor repair, roaches present in food prep area, floor tile in poor repair, and inside top of microwave in poor repair. 100 percent score on follow-up. All violations corrected.
Hardee’s – 100 percent – OK to open
Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant – 97 percent – dishwasher not properly sanitizing, wiping cloths not stored in sanitizing solution, and rust build-up on shelf.
Minit Mart – 94 percent – heavy ice build-up inside walk-in freezer, soda fountain filter needs service, some areas of floor in poor repair, heat and A/C returns have dust build-up, water leaking from women’s restroom toilet, ceiling in poor repair, and hand wash sign required at all hand wash sinks.
Little People’s Child Care – 100 percent
Three Daughters Coffee and Sweets – 99 percent – hand wash signs not posted at food prep area hand sink
Dollar General Store on Highway 379 – 100 percent
Esto Country Store – 100 percent
An establishment may pass inspection by having a score between 85 and 100 but critical violations must be corrected within 10 days. Otherwise, violations are expected to be corrected by the next inspection.
