The Russell County High School Soccer teams will play in 16th District Championships tomorrow in Clinton County.
With both teams having swept their district opponents in the regular season, both the Lakers and Lady Lakers clinched spots in the district championship games.
The Lakers will take on Monroe County for the district championship at 11 a.m. and the Lady Lakers will take on the winner of Clinton County and Monroe County beginning at 1 p.m.
Both Russell County teams will be looking to repeat as district champions, with the Lakers looking for their third in a row and the Lady Lakers looking to make it back-to-back district championships.
