Bryan Shepard has served as the city’s interim police chief since May, but the city is expected to announce a new permanent chief at tonight’s meeting.

The city council is also expected to have the first reading of an ordinance adjusting water and sewer tap costs.

The council will meet at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Main Street in Russell Springs.
