Russell County Laker Baseball Coach David Rexroat finished in the top 8 of the 2023 National High School Athletic Coaches Association Baseball Coach of the Year voting, finishing as a finalist among coaches from across the country.
Rexroat was Kentucky’s nominee for the award.
The National Coach of the Year honor was awarded in Lincoln, Nebraska.
