RCMS girls basketball struggles in opener against Southern

The Russell County Middle School Girls Basketball teams struggled in their opener against Southern Middle School.

Southern swept the Lady Lakers, with Russell County’s 6th grade team falling 39-22, 7th grade falling 40-28, and 8th grade falling 24-22.

The teams are back in action next Tuesday, hosting Campbellsville at 5:30 p.m.
