Yesterday on local news, we told you about a new report that shows more than 3,100 workers commute out of Russell County.
That same report shows that around 2,100 people commute into Russell County for work.
Most of those come from Adair County, with the Kentucky Center for Statistics noting that nearly 650 workers commute into Russell County from Adair County.
The report also shows 286 commute from Pulaski County and 222 from Casey County.
From there, the numbers drop substantially. The report shows 77 commuters from Taylor County, 62 from Wayne County, 58 from McCreary and 53 from Clinton County.
Rounding out the top counties for commuters, 30 commute from Green County and 28 from Marion County.
