As the new school year approaches and summer break comes to a close, local pools will soon be adjusting their hours of operation.
This is the last full week the Russell Springs City Pool will be open, as the pool will move to weekends-only through Labor Day Weekend.
The pool at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park will be open Wednesday-Sunday this week, and will go to being open only on Saturday and Sunday beginning on Aug. 19.
