Two Russell Springs residents were arrested in Columbia at the Family Dollar Wednesday evening.
According to Columbia Police, 41-year-old Kathleen Hahn was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. James Campbell, age 59, was arrested on an outstanding Russell County warrant.
Police were initially called to Family Dollar for a welfare check but upon arrival, officers learned Campbell had the outstanding warrant and placed him in custody.
While on scene, officers say Hahn was behaving erratically and nervously around officers.
A vehicle search yielded findings of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.
Officers Trevor Foster and Holly Necessary were the arresting Officers.
