Clinton County man found guilty on multiple charges involving minors

A Clinton County man has been convicted on numerous charges involving minor children.

Chris Thrasher of Albany was found guilty on Tuesday by a Clinton County jury on 22 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12.

Thrasher was convicted after authorities located the material on three separate computers owned or possessed  by Thrasher.   The jury deliberated just 45 minutes before returning the guilty verdicts on all counts.

The jury recommended Thrasher serve 22 years in prison.

Commonwealth Attorney Matthew Leveridge was the special prosecutor in the trial held Monday and Tuesday in Albany.

Circuit Judge David Williams set final sentencing for Thrasher for November 16.
