An Adair County woman was indicted on 25 criminal charges stemming from an incident in April in which she crashed head-on with an Adair County school bus.
Margaret Moran, also known as Margaret Bradshaw, faces 23 counts of wanton endangerment, along with charges of criminal mischief first degree and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance.
The wreck occurred at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, April 23 when Columbia Police say Moran crossed the center line while driving up Jamestown Hill, striking a school bus head-on with 18 Adair County students and five adults on board. The group reportedly was returning from a trip to Washington D.C.
The bus driver, 63-year-old Richard Redman, had to be taken to TJ Samson Columbia for treatment of injuries.
Moran is set to appear in court next month on the charges.
