A Wayne County man was arrested Monday after he allegedly strangled his girlfriend and ran over her with a dirt bike.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Maxwell James Rush was arrested and charged with strangulation first degree, assault second degree, and wanton endangerment first degree.
The victim reportedly suffered serious injuries and was treated at Wayne County Hospital.
Rush was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center Monday evening.
