Two persons were transported to the Russell County Hospital following a two vehicle accident on North Main Street in Jamestown shortly before 6:30 Friday evening.
According to Jamestown Police Chief Jeff Kerns, 30 year old Jansen Turner of Jamestown was operating a 2021 Nissan, traveling southbound, when he struck a 2023 pickup truck being operated by Justin Scott of Burkesville. Both Turner and Scott were transported by local EMS to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Chief Kerns told WJRS News that the investigation in ongoing and criminal charges are expected to be filed.
