The Russell Co. 4-H Shooting Sports Club recently hosted the Ralph Pettyjohn Memorial 4-H Competition at the Russell County Sportsmen’s Club.
The Russell County team had a strong performance. Here are some of the top finishers in the individual competitions for ages 15-18.
Vinson Kerns – 1st place bowhunter, 2nd place target compound archery
Zach Walters – 1st place target compound archery, 2nd place bowhunter
Audrie Roy – 2nd place compound bare bow
Eli Foley – 2nd place black powder flintlock rifle and black powder pistol; 3rd place black powder percussion rifle
