The Russell Co. 4-H Shooting Sports Club recently hosted the Ralph Pettyjohn Memorial 4-H Competition at the Russell County Sportsmen’s Club.
The Russell County team had a strong performance. Here are some of the top finishers in the individual competitions for ages 9-11.
Vance Foley – 1st place 9-11 black powder flintlock rifle
Aiden Mondie – 1st place 9-11 target air rifle
Alaina McDonald – 1st place 9-11 target recurve archery and longbow
Dalton Foley – 2nd place 9-11 black powder flintlock rifle; 3rd place 9-11 black powder percussion rifle
Jace Anderson – 2nd place 9-11 target air rifle
Greyson Riddle – 2nd place 9-11 .22 target rifle
Carter Brown – 3rd place 9-11 black powder flintlock rifle
Charlie Cundiff – 3rd place 9-11 .22 target rifle
Max Roy – 3rd place 9-11 target compound archery
