Work is set to begin on removing the wings from the old courthouse in Columbia, so the transportation cabinet will be closing the square to traffic each night for a week.
According to transportation officials, the Columbia square will be closed to through traffic from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night, beginning tomorrow through next Tuesday, July 18.
Signed detour routes will be posted.
The dates of work are subject to change due to weather or other circumstances.
