Three Russell County residents were selected for the 2023 BRIGHT Kentucky class.
Lyndsey Brown from the Lake Cumberland Area Development District, Tyler Stapp from Russell County Hospital, and Jordan Pierce from Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment were among 42 Kentucky residents selected.
BRIGHT Kentucky is in its 5th year, selects Kentuckians from across multiple occupations to engage in leadership training, expanded networking, and more. It is made possible by a $500,000 grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission and other private funding.
The program runs from July-November and participants travel the state for five, three-day sessions.
