KSP still quiet about Clinton County officer-involved shooting

No new details are being released from Kentucky State Police about an officer-involved shooting in Clinton County one week ago.

WJRS News requested more information regarding the shooting, but Kentucky State Police Post 15 Public Affairs Officer Jonathan Houk told WJRS News he couldn’t release any further details than what state police released in a press release following the incident.

According to KSP, a man was shot by law enforcement near the intersection of KY 90 and Willow Grove Road at around 6 p.m. last Tuesday.

Troopers were called in by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office to investigate, but it remains unclear which agency was actually involved in the shooting and who the victim is.

KSP has statewide jurisdiction and investigates officer-involved shootings throughout the Commonwealth as requested by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
