A Dunnville man is facing several charges after he led state police and other law enforcement agencies on a chase through Casey, Russell, and Adair counties.
According to jail records, 42-year-old William S. Phelps faces numerous charges which include speeding 25 mph or more over the limit, fleeing or evading police first degree, wanton endangerment of a police officer, no insurance, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and criminal mischief, among other charges.
The chase began Friday evening, beginning somewhere in Casey County before coming in to Russell County on Highway 127 just before 6 p.m. with about 7 law enforcement vehicles in pursuit, and ending in Adair County, where Phelps was apprehended by Kentucky State Police and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail at about 8:30 p.m. Friday night.
