An Adair County woman is facing a rape charge along with other charges following an incident at a cemetery over the weekend.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office said Felicia Frausto was arrested early Saturday morning just after 1 a.m. after a complaint about an incident that led deputies to the back of Haven Hill Cemtery off Liberty Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, another woman was reportedly trying to escape from Frausto at the cemetery.
The victim was transported to TJ Health Columbia for treatment.
Frausto faces charges of rape first degree, unlawful imprisonment, possession of marijuana, and public intoxication.
The incident is still under investigation by Deputy Chandler Staten.
