A 30-year-old Cumberland County man passed away following a fatal collision in Monroe County.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 15, the accident occurred Thursday afternoon at around 4:15 p.m. on KY 953 when a 1998 Dodge Ram operated by 30-year-old Dustin Thacker of Cumberland County dropped off the northbound shoulder of the roadway, overcorrected, and lost control, exiting on the southbound side and overturned.
Thacker was pronounced deceased by the Monroe County Coroner’s Office.
The collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 15.
