The annual Lakefest celebration in Jamestown gets underway this evening.
Tonight’s events include beauty pageants getting underway at 5 p.m. with Triple Crown Wrestling taking place at 6 p.m.
A slate full of events are scheduled for tomorrow, beginning with Breakfast in the Park at 7 a.m. and culminating with Aaron Tippin in concert that evening and the annual fireworks show.
The Russell County Courthouse and Russell County Judicial Center are closed today due to preparations for Lakefest.
