The Russell County Board of Education approved the school district’s NTI plan for another year at this week’s board meeting.
The plan provides non-traditional instruction in the event that in-person classes are cancelled due to severe weather, illness, or other factors.
Russell County Schools Superintendent Michael Ford said the plan is basically the same as in years past, and noted the school district only used three NTI days this school year, which is much lower than the number typically used most years.
