Pulaski middle school teacher suspended for letting student dress as KKK member

A middle school teacher in neighboring Pulaski County has reportedly been suspended for permitting a student to dress up as a Ku Klux Klan member, according to reports.

The incident happened at Southern Middle School in Pulaski County, according to reports, in which a student asked to dress up as Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Confederate Army general and the first Grand Wizard of the KKK.

The teacher, who was not named by the school district, has been suspended, according to Pulaski County Schools, and the situation will be reported to the state standards board.
