The Russell County Laker Baseball and Lady Laker Softball teams begin district tournament play in Albany tonight after storms postponed games yesterday.
The top-seeded Lakers will take on Monroe County this evening at 5:30 p.m after the Falcons defeated Metcalfe County 13-6 in the opening round Monday night.
The three-seed Lady Lakers will take on the two-seed Clinton County Lady Bulldogs.
First pitch in Albany is scheduled for 7:15 tonight.
We will have coverage of the Lady Laker Softball game about 10 minutes prior to first pitch.
