Kentucky unemployment rate 3.7% in April

Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary April 2023 unemployment rate was 3.7 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics.

The April jobless rate was down 0.1 percentage points from March and was down 0.1 percentage points from the 3.8 percent recorded one year ago.

The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for April was 3.4 percent, which was down 0.1 percentage points from March, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
