Early voting begins today at SKRECC

Today is the first day for early, in-person voting for next week’s primary election.

Early voting at the South Kentucky RECC Community Room in Jamestown takes place today, Friday, and Saturday.

Voters can cast their ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. All voters are asked to bring their ID when they come to vote.

Any registered voter in Russell County can vote early at RECC, regardless of precinct.

Contested races for governor, secretary of state, state auditor, state treasurer, and agriculture commissioner are on the GOP ticket while ag commissioner and governor make up the choices for Democratic voters.

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, May 16.
