Clinton, Wayne, Casey counties to benefit from ag loans

Three neighboring counties will be benefiting from agricultural loans recently approved by the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation.

Clinton County received just over $148,000 while Wayne County received $250,000 from the Beginning Farmer Loan Program, which is designed to assist individuals with farming experience who want to develop, expand, or buy into a farming operation.

A Diversification through Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness loan totaling $110,000 was approved for a recipient in Casey County. This type of loan is designed to assist agri-entrepreneurs with the purchase, establishment or expansion of a business that sells agricultural products or services to farmers or consumers.
