The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team lost a close one to Southern Middle School last night, falling 7-6.
Addy Abrell finished with a pair of hits, driving in one run for the Lady Lakers. Lillian Davis drove in two runs for Russell County.
The Lady Lakers will look to get back in the win column tomorrow, when they go on the road to Campbellsville.
