The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team had a tough weekend, falling in back-to-back contests on Saturday.
The Lady Lakers fell to Clinton County 8-7 and to Rockcastle County 4-2 despite having more hits than their opponent in both games.
The Lady Lakers will look to get back to their winning ways today when they go on the road to Adair County. That matchup will get underway at 5 p.m.
