A preliminary hearing in the case of a Jamestown man accused of murdering his half-brother is set to take place today.
Lee Maynard is scheduled to appear in Russell District Court today at 1 p.m. for a preliminary hearing.
Maynard, who is being represented by the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy, is charged with murder in the shooting death of his half-brother, 22-year-old Charles Maynard, at a residence on Fox Lane in Jamestown earlier this month.
At his last court appearance two weeks ago, Maynard pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.
