The Russell County Lady Lakers fell to the Campbellsville Lady Eagles yesterday by a score of 8-2.
The Lady Lakers finished the night with more hits than the Lady Eagles, finishing with 12 hits to 11 for Campbellsville, but a couple costly errors and missed opportunities led to the Russell County defeat.
Audrie Roy, Addie Davis, and Mallie McQueary each finished with two hits for the Lady Lakers. Davis and Avery Hart each drove in a run.
The Lady Lakers will look to get back on track Friday night when they host another tough 5th Region opponent, the LaRue County Lady Hawks.
