The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team fell to Taylor County by a score of 9-3 last night in the Kentucky 2A Section 4 matchup.
Taylor County will now play Marion County, who defeated Adair County in the first matchup of the night, on Thursday for the sectional championship.
The Lady Lakers will be back in action today, hosting the Campbellsville Lady Eagles.
First pitch between the Lady Lakers and Lady Eagles is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Pregame coverage on Laker Country 104.9 will begin about 10 minutes prior to first pitch.
