The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team lost its first district game of the season last night, falling 17-2 to the Cumberland County Lady Panthers.
Rylen McGowan and Avery Hart drove in the 2 runs for the Lady Lakers.
The Lady Lakers are scheduled to be off until Monday when they go on the road to take on the region-leading Barren County Trojanettes.
