The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team won easily over Hart County last night, winning 21-0.
The Lady Lakers scored 14 of those runs in the 2nd inning alone.
Leading the way offensively was Camdin Cooper, who finished with 4 hits driving in 5 runs.
Miley Rankins, Madelyn Roy, and Addy Abrell each finished with 3 hits as the Lady Lakers totaled 19 hits in the game.
Cooper, Abrell, and Allie Bailey each hit inside-the-park home runs.
On the mound, Lillie Davis pitched a three-inning no hitter, walking 1 and striking out 7.
