Two arrests were made locally on Thursday.
According to Russell Springs Police, 57-year-old Freda Whittle of Russell Springs was arrested following a traffic stop at Northridge Shopping Center and was charged with possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle under the influence, and having one headlight.
Kentucky State Police also made an arrest locally on Thursday.
According to jail records, 19-year-old Kevin Rosas was arrested at around 10 p.m. Thursday and charged with reckless driving, wanton endangerment first degree, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle, operating a vehicle under the influence second offense, no insurance, and other traffic charges.
Both were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
