Tonight will be Senior Night as the Russell County Laker and Lady Laker basketball teams play their final home doubleheader of the season.
Russell County will take on Rockcastle County tonight, as the Lady Lakers will play in the first game beginning at 5 p.m. with the Lakers to follow at around 7 p.m.
We’ll have pregame coverage on Laker Country 104.9 beginning at around 4:45 p.m.
A senior night ceremony will take place between the two games.
This is the final game of the regular season for each team before district tournament play starts on Sunday.
On Sunday, both the Lady Lakers and Lakers will take on Cumberland County in the opening round of the district tournament at Metcalfe County High School.
The Lady Lakers will play at 3 p.m. with the Lakers taking the floor in the following game.
