The Russell County Lakers and Lady Lakers had a rough night at Monroe County in a district doubleheader Friday night.
In the first game, the Lady Lakers fell by a score of 60-37.
The loss moves the Lady Lakers to 5-19 and winless on the season in district play.
Aniyah Coffey scored 12 in the loss and finished with a team-high 7 rebounds. Karley Luttrell added 7 and Hannah Yates finished with 4.
The Lakers lost in the nightcap, falling 75-46 to the Falcons.
The loss pushes the Lakers to 8-16 and 2-6 in district play on the season.
Braydon Cerrato and Owen Loy each finished with 13 points in the loss, and Maddox Shearer added 7.
Cerrato finished with a team-high 7 rebounds.
