The Russell County Laker Football program has released its 2023 schedule.
The schedule features four home games and six road games.
The Lakers will be on the road for the first four games of the season, beginning the 2023 campaign with a game at Adair County on Aug. 18.
The Lakers will then travel to Somerset on Aug. 25, South Laurel on Sept. 1, and Casey County on Sept. 8.
The Lakers will play their home opener on Sept. 15 hosting district opponent Lincoln County.
The Lakers then host East Jessamine on Sept. 22 and go on the road for a district matchup with Taylor County on Sept. 29.
The Lakers play two more district games, hosting Boyle County on Oct. 6 and traveling to Wayne County on Oct. 13.
The Lakers have a bye week before hosting LaRue County on Oct. 27.
