The Russell County Middle School 7th grade Laker Basketball team finished as the runner-up in the conference tournament over the weekend.
Russell County beat Casey County 43-17, and followed that up with a 41-31 win over Adair County.
However, the Lakers eventually fell to Campbellsville in the conference finals by a score of 50-27.
