The Russell County High School Academic Team hosted the Governor’s Cup District Tournament over the weekend.
Jalon Edmonds placed first in Mathematics, Cloey Bailey placed 5th in both Language Arts and Composition, and Breanna Trautman placed 3rd in Composition. Kamden Templin placed 1st in Social Studies.
Each of these students will advance to regional competition in February.
The RCHS Quick Recall team fell in the third match against Clinton County, who came out victorious.
