The Russell County Middle School Lakers dropped 2 of 3 games to Adair County last night.
The 6th grade team fell 39-26. Will Coffey scored 11 points and Myles Davis added 8. Keenan Stille scored 5, Archer Hart scored 4, and Kholton Robertson rounded the scoring with one point.
The 7th grade team fell 43-27. Will Coffey and Myles Davis scored 6 points each in that game, while Eyan Propes added 5 and Talon Huckaby scored 4.
The 8th grade team won big, with a final score of 70-18. Mannix Bell led the scoring with 19 points, followed by Tyson Stille with 9 and Adrian Eads with 8. Gabe Browning and Jaden Wooten scored 7 each.
The Lakers are back at home next Monday for a matchup with Campbellsville.
