The Russell County Lakers split a pair of games over the weekend.
On Friday night, the Lakers traveled to Albany to take on the district rival Clinton County Bulldogs.
The Lakers fell by a score of 60-55.
Owen Loy led the scoring with 21 points, followed by Trace Stringer with 9, Braydon Cerrato with 8, Mayes Gosser and Dylan Stanelle with 7 each, and Maddox Shearer with 3.
Gosser led the team with 10 rebounds, followed by Stringer with 6.
The Lakers were in action at home on Saturday, defeating the Butler County Bears by a score of 90-89.
After the weekend, the Lakers sit at 4-2 as they prepare to play in the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic in Gatlinburg this week.
